Peru's Melchor grabs bronze at Guadalajara Half Marathon

Peruvian runner Ines Melchor grabbed bronze medal at 2018's Guadalajara Half Marathon last Sunday.

The 31-year-old athlete clocked a time of 1 hour 12 minutes and 32 seconds, thus ending third at the competition. She was behind Ethiopian Risper Biyaki (1:12.27).

It must be noted the women's category was won by Kenyan Diana Chemtai (1:10.00).

"[…] Now I have to keep training for the Valencia Half Marathon, in Spain, which will take place by end-March," the national sportswoman posted on Facebook. 

As is known, the Peruvian runner grabbed silver medal in the 2018 Fitbit Miami Half Marathon's female category last month.
