The Not One Less march taking place this Saturday in Peru's capital city of Lima will set a breaking point, Justice and Human Rights Minister Marisol Perez Tello said.

"The event must bring us all together as one unanimous society," the government official told reporters on Friday.

Remarks were made from Lima's Chorrillos penitentiary center, where the minister had shown up to enjoy live theater performed by inmates.

Once at the site, the 47-year-old confirmed attendance to the weekend's peaceful event.

"This is not a demonstration aimed at taking a stance for or against anything. It’s rather a march reflecting we aren’t willing to stand it anymore," the minister expressed.

"There’s no doubt I will be attending tomorrow," she added.

According to Perez Tello, the event denotes an effort towards transforming the course of country's history.

She also requested dialogue to reign among families, who shall educate children with love to tackle violence.

As is known, #NiUnaMenos (Not one Less) campaign aims at putting end to violence against women.
