Peruvian soccer players Paolo Guerrero and Miguel Trauco last Saturday showed wonderful performances in Carioca tournament's Flamengo-Vasco da Gama match (1-0).
The striker and the recently-signed midfielder contributed to Flamengo's victory.
Brazilian Diego scored the game's winning goal through a penalty, thus defeating Vasco da Gama's goalkeeper in the 43rd minute.
Thanks to this triumph, Flamengo qualified for Campeonato Carioca's finals. Thus, "Mengao" will face Fluminense on March 5th.
Guerrero —also known as "The Predator"— has already scored 6 goals (5 matches) in the mentioned competition, whereas midfielder Trauco has scored on one occasion.
