Alexandra buscará subir a lo más alto del podio de Los Bolivarianos

Peruvian Karateka Alexandra Grande will participate in The World Games 2017 taking place in Wroclaw (Poland) on July 20-30.

27-year-old Grande will travel to Europe in the coming days to join this mega event. 

The 10th edition of The World Games will also see the participation of other Peruvian representatives: Diego Elias (squash), Natalia Cuglievan (waterski), Tristana Tola, Gabriel Mazzetti and Lisanne Van Der Molen (Muay Thai). 

It must be noted the national sportswoman grabbed gold medal in Women's -61 kg category at the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games.

About the Games

The World Games denote a multi-sport event staged every four years by the International World Games Association under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee.

At the Games, sports and disciplines —not shown on the Olympic program— can showcase their best athletes.

The mega event will feature over 3,000 sportspeople from more than 110 countries.
