Peru's Defense Minister Pedro Cateriano will be paying an official visit to Uruguay and Argentina from September 24-27,2014 with the aim to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in the security and defense fields with the two nations.
During his visit to the two South American countries, Minister Cateriano is scheduled to meet his counterparts Agustin Rossi from Argentina and Eleuterio Fernández Huidobro from Uruguay.
Cateriano's trip to Argentina and Uruguay has been authorized through a supreme decree released Saturday, September 20th in El Peruano official daily.
Said document indicates while out of the country, Cateriano's ministerial office will be in charge of Milton von Hesse, Peru's Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation.
