The 11th Peru-Ecuador Binational Cabinet taking place today in northern city of Trujillo will serve to discuss the progress and challenges related to the group's five main axes.

According to the Peruvian Foreign Affairs Ministry, the gathering will focus on: (i) Social and Cultural Affairs; (ii) Production and Trade; (iii) Energy, Mining and Environmental Issues; (iv) Infrastructure and Connectivity; as well as (v) Security and Defense. 

The event will be led by Presidents Pedro Pablo Kuczynski (Peru) and Lenin Moreno (Ecuador).

As is known, Ecuadorian President Moreno and his wife Rocio Gonzalez arrived in Trujillo on Thursday afternoon to attend the event.

Agenda

At 09:00 AM, both Heads of State will hold a private meeting.

Then, at 10:00 AM, the inauguration and the plenary session of Peru-Ecuador Binational Cabinet will be held at Costa del Sol Hotel.

The official photo will be taken at 1:00 PM.

The activity will conclude at 3:00 PM with the signing of a joint declaration.
