Peru will host the 2016 APEC Finance Ministerial Meeting (FMM) on October 14-15 at Lima Convention Center, the bloc's Secretariat confirmed.
Event will be chaired by local Finance and Economy Minister Alfredo Thorne.
Ministers from APEC economies, which account for about 60 per cent of world’s GDP, will assess global and regional economic, as well as financial outlook.
Their conclusions will shape new collaborative actions to build growth that is sustainable, widely felt and shock resistant.
Focus will be on advancing financial integration, fiscal reform and infrastructure development, as well as financing measures across the Asia-Pacific.
Policies for improving financial inclusion and disaster risk financing, plus insurance in the region will also be on the table.
