Peru to host 8th World Summit of Political Communication

Experts on strategic communications management from different countries will take part in the VIII World Summit of Political Communication, to be held on December 2-4, organizers informed.

Over 160 experts, senior consultants, journalists, researchers and academics in Political Communications will gather in Lima to this end.

The summit will focus on the presidential and congressional election campaign in Peru, which will be in full swing by that time.

Communication specialists include election campaign experts such as Mexican Juan Carlos Limon, Colombian Antonio Sola, and the President of the Brazilian Association of Political Consultants (ABCOP) Carlos Manhanelli.

Also attending will be Cesar Martinez, consultant at U.S. Republican Party, Tony Pug, Gisela Rubach, expert on political marketing, and Jose Luis Sanchis, among others.

Argentine Daniel Ivoskus, President of the organization, will arrive on Friday, May 29, to meet with various authorities of the country and speak with the media to share details of the event.

“The summit is the place par excellence to share ideas, experiences, debate and professional development with experts on presidential campaigns coming from North America, Europe and Latin America,” Ivoskus pointed out.

The first summit took place in Argentina in 2010. Following events were held in Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia.
