Peru to compete in Beach Volleyball World Championships U-19 in Cyprus

Peruvian male and female pairs of beach volleyball, U-19, on Saturday traveled to Cyprus to compete in the World Championships in that category, organized by the International Federation of Beach Volleyball (FIVB).
Danae Carranza and Alexandra Machado will represent Peru in the female pategory, while Alvaro Hidalgo and Eduardo Roma will do the same in the male one.

The Peruvian delegation travelled to Cyprus led by Peruvian medalist in the Seoul Olympics '88 Rosa Garcia, who is currently president of the Commission of Beach Volleyball at the Peruvian Volleyball Federation (FPV).

The World Championships of Cyprus will be held from July 11 to 14 and will be the first time for Peruvian teams participating in a world tournament.

The next U-21 beach volleyball World Cup will be in Canada, in August.
