Peru would become one of the top "unusual" destinations next year, according to the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA).
Topping the list of destinations is Myanmar, followed by Vietnam, India, Peru, Cambodia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica and Ecuador, Peru’s export and tourism promotion board - Promperu said Monday.

Peru ranks first in Latin America, according to a survey conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) among USTOA members.

Promperu attended the 2012 Annual Conference & Marketplace on December 6 to 8 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Hawaii.

The event provides a forum for USTOA Associate members to meet with top executives of USTOA's Tour Operator (Active) members on a one-to-one, buy-and-sell basis.
