Peru's Foreign Trade and Tourism Ministry (Mincetur) is set to take part in the 7th edition of the South American Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference (SAHIC), scheduled to be held in Quito, Ecuador, from September 15th to 16th, 2014.
SAHIC is an international annual event, whose purpose is to promote investments in hotel infrastructure and tourism industry in the South America region by showcasing innovative projects to interested investors from different parts of the world.
The conference is expected to bring together more than 2,500 attendees including investors, hotel brand and real estate executives, hotel operators, developers, financial advisors, lawyers, designers, architects, consultants, and regional government authorities.
It will include luncheons, keynote speeches, panel discussions, cocktail parties and receptions with numerous occasions for networking and conversation.
The conference is held in different cities in South America each year. Previous editions of SAHIC were held in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Cartagena de Indias, Santiago de Chile, Lima, and Bogota and have been attended by industry leaders from more than 30 countries.
Attending the event to carry out the activities aimed at showcasing the Andean country's wide range of new and innovative tourism infrastructure projects at the event, will be Mincetur's official Isabel Mendoza, according to a ministerial resolution released on Friday.
It is worth noting Peru aims to host again the event in 2015.
