The Peruvian delegation, which successfully joined in the Special Olympics World Games: Los Angeles 2015, arrived in Lima starting Monday after an extraordinary participation in the sports gathering held from July 25 to August 02.
The said team claimed a total of 38 medals (11 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze), since the national athletes put their top performances on display throughout the event.
The 44 athletes stood out in in eight disciplines, such as: swimming, gymnastics (Rhythmic), athletics, bocce, weightlifting, soccer, basketball and volleyball.
