The Peruvian soccer team coach Ricardo Gareca said the red-white team can “give more” in the ‘Copa America Chile 2015’ tournament after the athletes earned their tickets to the quarter finals to face Bolivia.

“The objective was achieved and I have to congratulate the players for the willingness they showed in the field. It is true we have two ‘casualties’ for the next game, but we will assess the replacements,” Gareca told.

Afterwards, the ‘Tiger’ added we “came out with the intention of winning. Despite the fact that the first minutes were complicated, since Colombia started pressuring us, we gradually took the wheel and, therefore, saw a very courageous Peruvian team,” he added.

With regard Peruvian performance to date, Gareca said “I am calm, although we have to continue making much progress, especially since we are convinced of the potential we have. Definitely, I sense we can give much more,” he pointed out.
