Peru Service Summit 2016 to see deals worth US$85 million

National and foreign enterprises are expected to generate deals worth US$85 million at Peru Service Summit 2016 currently underway in Lima, Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Magali Silva estimated.

The event will feature businesspeople from the software, videogame, contact center, publishing and printing industries, who will gather with more than 100 purchasers and investors from 17 countries.

"The sixth edition has become the region's leading business platform [...]," Silva indicated. 

Over the last five years, the major event has generated deals worth US$252 million.

Contractors from Asia, Europe, the Americas and Pacific Alliance member countries also take part in the meeting. 

According to the official, international visitors are drawn not only by services offered by Peruvian companies, but also their response capacity and versatility. 

At the said gathering, attendees are able to reach competitive and attractive deals, build strategic alliances, as well as learn about new global trends and become involved in specialized activities. 

The new edition is projected to reunite 1,500 executives. 40,000 people will participate via streaming from the U.S. and Latin America.

Organized by PromPeru and the Foreign Trade and Tourism Ministry, Peru Service Summit will run thru July 14th.
