Peru's Deputy Foreign Minister Jose Beraun will soon travel to Moscow to attend the Second Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific-Technological and Fisheries Cooperation between Peru and Russia.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting is scheduled for October 17-18 and aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in these fields.
The event will also be attended by a delegation of technical experts from various sectors related to the topics on the agenda.
The first meeting, held in Lima in December 2010, resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement between Peru's National Society of Industries and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The agreement sought to promote private investment in the industrial sectors of both countries.
A road show on investment opportunities in Peru will take place in parallel with the second meeting in Moscow.
