Bank loans provided to companies expanded 6.04% last July compared to the same period last year.
Loans were, above all, driven by the demand from Real Estate activities and manufacturing industry.
According to Peruvian Bank Association (Asbanc), said sector contributed 1.6 percentage points to credit growth.
Such increase was promoted by good performance of credits directed to following activities: Real Estate, business and leasing (1.05 percentage point), trade (1.01 percentage point) and financial intermediation (0.91 perceptual point), Asbanc added.
Bank loans provided to companies totaled S/153.204 billion (about US$46.425 billion) at the end of July 2016.
