Public investment execution in the three levels of government (national, regional and local) reached US$3.425 billion by July 8 2015, the Economy and Finance Ministry announced.
It added the national government leads public investment execution (about US$1.790 billion), followed by local governments (about US$1.010 billion) and regional governments (about US$625 million).
With regard to investments carried out by the State, the Transport and Communications sector leads the ranking (about US$844 million). It is followed by the Defense sector (about US$372 million).
