President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski welcomed on Wednesday morning appointed State Legal Defense Council Chair Julia Principe Trujillo at the Government Palace.
Joined by Justice Minister Marisol Perez Tello, Mr. Kuczynski took a break from the sixth Council of Ministers session to welcome the lawyer.
Principe, who until recently served as State Legal Representative in Asset Laundering cases, will now be in charge of coordinating the legal defense of State's interests.
Her appointment as representative of Justice Minister Perez Tello to the State Legal Defense Council was confirmed today.
The decision is aimed at projecting signs of transparency and autonomy.
