Peruvian Congress on Thursday authorized the trip of President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski to France and Spain, where he will participate in a series of official activities.
Lawmakers passed said resolution with 96 votes in favor, 4 against and 5 abstentions.
Thus, the Head of State will be overseas from June 6 to 14, 2017.
France
While in France, Peru's top official will attend the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD) meeting: International Economic Forum on Latin America and the Caribbean. The event will take place in Paris on June 9.
Mr. Kuczynski's participation comes at the invitation of the OECD, the Inter-American Development Bank and the French Economy Ministry.
Spain
Later, the Head of State will travel to Madrid and pay an official visit to both, President Mariano Rajoy and King Felipe VI.
Likewise, the economist will meet with the main personalities from the academic, political and business communities of Spain.
