Newly sworn-in President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski presided over an official greeting ceremony gathering diplomatic officials, as well as representatives of national and foreign organizations.
Joined by First Lady Nancy Lange, Mr. Kuczynski was saluted by illustrious guests.
Held at Government Palace's Golden Hall on Thursday night, the event was part of protocol activities organized on the occasion of Peru’s Independence Day.
Previously, the Head of State was greeted by new ministers' relatives and PPK party members.
As is known, the former minister will serve as Head of State and Government for a five-year term.
