Peru president receives credentials from four new ambassadors

Peru's President Ollanta Humala Tasso has received the credentials from the new ambassadors of Nicaragua, San Marino, Angola and Fiji.

President Humala was accompanied by Education Minister Patricia Salas, acting on behalf of Foreign Minister Rafael Roncagliolo who is away in Bolivia.

The new ambassadors are Marcela Martha Perez Silva from Nicaragua, Francesco Lucio Bongorra from San Marino, Nelson Manuel Cosme from Angola and Cama Tuiqilaqila Tuilona from Fiji.

In a brief conversation with each of the ambassadors, President Humala expressed his government's willingness to strengthen political, trade and cultural ties with their countries.

The credential presentation ceremony took place in the Golden Hall of the Government Palace in Lima.
