Diálogo con el ministro de Planificación y Cooperación Internacional del Reino de Jordania, Imad Fakhoury, sostuvo el presidente Ollanta Humala Tasso
Peruvian President Ollanta Humala held a meeting with the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Imad Najib Fakhoury.
Fakhoury arrived in Lima to attend the 2015 Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.
At the meeting leaders addressed the excellent level of bilateral relations existing between both nations, especially in the fields of cooperation for the protection, conservation, recovery and return of stolen cultural and paleontological resources, illegally exported or transferred from Peru to Jordan.
Moreover, Peru's interest aimed at reinforcing the economic and commercial ties with Jordan was expressed given its potential as partner country.
Each of the economies complements the other. In this sense, there is space to expand and diversify bilateral trade by increasing exports of non-traditional products from the agribusiness, fishing and textile industries, among others.
