Peru President meets with Chile counterpart

Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Thursday met with Chilean counterpart Michelle Bachelet in Lima prior to the Binational Cabinet session slated for Friday.

The coming official meeting is expected to boost bilateral ties uniting both nations.

On Thursday night, the Heads of State gather with businesspeople from both nations at Foreign Affairs Ministry headquarters.

The event is attended by Peruvian Ministers Ricardo Luna (Foreign Affairs), Fernando Zavala (Economy and Finance), Eduardo Ferreyros (Foreign Trade and Tourism) and Gonzalo Tamayo (Energy and Mines).

The Chilean entourage includes Ministers Heraldo Muñoz (Foreign Affairs), Luis Felipe Cespedes (Economy, Development and Tourism) and Andres Rebolledo (Energy).

Later tonight, Peru's top official will host a state dinner to honor the visiting Head of State and her delegation.

As is known, Ms. Bachelet arrived in the Inca country on Thursday afternoon.
