Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Wednesday morning led preventive actions during a national earthquake drill organized by the National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci).
The Head of State evacuated Lima's Government Palace premises along with State Ministers who were holding a Council of Ministers session.
Staff also joined preparedness efforts and headed to a safe area at the Government Palace's Courtyard.
The statesman currently oversees Indeci's monitoring activities at Lima's Main Square joined by Prime Minister Fernando Zavala and Defense Minister Jorge Nieto.
He also discusses drill actions with Madre de Dios Regional Governor Luis Otsuka Salazar.
