President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Sunday presided over the ceremony marking the 76th anniversary of Peru's Air Force (FAP).
At the site, the Head of State affirmed the Andean country will return to the path of growth very soon.
Thus, there will be greater public resources to finance various sectors, including the Armed Forces.
In this context, Peru's top official underlined the Inca nation will recover from the "small economic downturn," driven by Lava Jato (Car Wash) corruption case and "Coastal El Niño" phenomenon.
The Peruvian Commander-in-Chief was joined by Defense Minister Jorge Nieto and high-ranking military officials at the ceremony.
The event also commemorated the immolation of Captain Jose Quiñones during the Ecuadorian–Peruvian War held in 1941.
