Peru President: It will be a privilege to hear Pope's message of peace and dialogue

Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski referred to Pope Francis' visit to Peru again, remarking it will be a privilege to join him in his trip across the country while hearing his message of peace, dialogue, and understanding.

Via Twitter, the Head of State reiterated his readiness to escort the Supreme Pontiff on his journey through Lima, Puerto Maldonado, and Trujillo.


The Vicar of Christ arrived at Air Group N°8 on a Latam commercial flight today at 4:32 PM. 

Upon arrival, he was welcomed by President Kuczynski and his wife Nancy Lange.

After receiving the corresponding honors, Francis left for the Apostolic Nunciature, where he will be staying during his visit to Peru.

The Pope will complete a series of activities in the aforementioned cities until Sunday, January 21 when he is due to leave for Rome.
