Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Sunday launched "Conversando con el Presidente" (A Conversation with the President), a TV program in which he interviews state ministers and prominent figures for about 25 minutes.

The program will feature ministers explaining their progress made towards the implementation of State policies in favor of Peruvian nationals.

Other prominent figures —from Peru and overseas— are expected to appear on the show, which will be shot in different parts of the Andean nation.

Conversando con el Presidente will be broadcast every two weeks at different times and on different free-to-air stations: Latina (05:00), Panamericana (05:30), ATV (20:00) and RPP (23:00).

Kuczynski's first guest was Education Minister Marilu Martens, who spoke on High Performance Schools (COARs) implementation all over the country.

On this episode, Peruvian leader emphasized that "education leads to progress" and that COAR students receive direct benefits from the State, such as a comprehensive studies program, free boarding, and the opportunity to earn an international baccalaureate diploma.

Pedro Pablo Kuczynski is the first Peruvian president to have a space on free-to-air television in history.

Next episodes will feature Health Minister Patricia Garcia, Economy and Finance Minister Alfredo Thorne and Peruvian striker Paolo Guerrero.
