In statements prior to the presidential gathering, Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski said he expected the meeting with U.S. counterpart Donald Trump to be quite useful.
"We plan to provide a clear explanation of what is happening in Peru and Latin America. We are good neighbors, we bring youth to the United States and get investments in exchange," the Head of State commented on a video he shared on Twitter.
"This is a very positive exchange, I am sure this will be a useful meeting," he continued.
Mr. Kuczynski's statements were made right before the meeting held at the White House in Washington D.C.
