As part of the reconstruction process following phenomenon disasters, Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Thursday morning arrived in northern Trujillo city to deliver housing units to displaced citizens.
In this sense, the Head of State delivered 80 —out of 180—
housing units to flooded out families in El Milagro locality (Trujillo's Huanchaco district).
The 19.5-m2 pre-fabricated structures are made of wooden sheets cladded with fiber cement panels.
Aid also includes temporary sanitation units consisting of water and sewer connections, showers, WCs, washing basins and taps.
Temporary housing units are valued at S/10,700 (about US$3,299), whereas sanitation ones are valued at S/23,860 (about US$7,357).
Housing, Construction and Sanitation Minister Edmer Trujillo and Authority for Reconstruction with Changes (RCC) Executive-Director Pablo de la Flor joined the statesman on the occasion.
