Police officers have rescued Adrianna Kent Chacon, a five-year-old girl who was kidnapped by two men her father would have chosen. Abduction took place in presence of her mother in the San Borja district in Lima.
National Police Director General Vicente Romero informed the minor was found inside a car along with two English citizens in the San Bartolo district, heading to the South.
“We have confirmed it’s the girl who was kidnapped yesterday. She was rescued in record time and the specialized police unit is now working on the case,” Romero told RPP.
Peruvian-American Mary Ann Chacon Castañeda, the mother, explained how two tall white men hit her to abduct her daughter while standing in front of her house in San Borja.
Chacon separated from Dustin Kent. According to the Peruvian citizen, he sexually abused her daughter. After reporting the crime in the United States, they returned to Peru to get away from him.
However, Dustin Kent harassed her with phone calls and e-mails by telling her he was going to get his daughter back. Chacon did not rule out the minor’s paternal grandparents —who own a production company in Hollywood— might be behind the kidnapping.
