The National Council for Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (CONCYTEC) and the South Korea’s Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) designed to improve the professional skills to create public policies on scientific, technological and innovative matters.

Thanks to the MoU high level events will be organized. Those will enable to socialize the South Korean experiences required to develop the sector public policies.

The Chairwoman of CONCYTEC, Gisella Orjeda, thanked the South Korean support provided to Peru on the matter.
“Starting today we will be provided support to create studies needed, in order to set the priorities for creating Peru’s scientific and technological general policy […],” she indicated.

The MoU is sample of the CONCYTEC's decision to design serious public policies with the collaboration, assistance and advice provided by the best centers, institutes and countries.

She added STEPI’s successful experience will enable Peru to develop and strengthen the national plan towards achieving development and helping to create a business model aimed at establishing an advanced technology park.
