Peru has opened the first "Arab Culture Room" at Lima's Public Library, showing the good relationship with Arab countries.
Peru's Minister of Culture, Luis Peirano said that the exhibition is one of the objectives of cultural cooperation initiated by Heads of State and Government of South American and Arab Countries during the 3rd ASPA Summit, which took place in October, 2012 in Lima.
   
Peirano noted that the art gallery houses a collection of Arab culture, which puts emphasis in its writing.

He also said that the gallery is a goodwill gesture and shows the strengthening of the relationship after the ASPA Summit.

Director of Lima's Public Library, Ramón Mujica said that "Arab Culture Room" features bibliographic documents in several languages such as Spanish, Arabic, English and French.
