The government of Peru has recently appointed Librado Augusto Orozco Zapata as new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

The appointment was made official by Supreme Resolution 161-2015-RE published today in El Peruano official gazette.

Credentials and full powers have been issued to the diplomat in accordance with the said document.

In addition, a ministerial resolution will set the date on which the new Ambassador will officially assume his diplomatic duties.

The resolution was inked by Peruvian President Ollanta Humala and Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Maria Sanchez.

On the other hand, the Executive Branch terminated Javier Eduardo Leon Olavarria functions as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Mexican United States.

The regulation was introduced through Supreme Resolution No 160-2015-RE.
