'Peru mucho gusto' food festival to drew over 8,000 visitors

Over 8,000 visitors are expected to attend the 9th annual edition of 'Peru Mucho Gusto' food festival, to be held in the coastal province of Pisco, on May 1-3, 2014.
The festival will feature 27 different stalls, 15 of them will be serving Peruvian tradional dishes from around the country including regions such as Arequipa, Ayacucho, Madre de Dios, Apurimac, Cusco, Moquegua and Tacna.

During the three-day event, organized by the Foreign Trade and Tourism Ministry (Mincetur), exhibitors are expected to offer information on Peru's top tourist attractions.

The entry cost for the gastronomic fair will be 3.50 soles, while samples of the different regional dishes will cost between 5 soles and 10 soles.
