Peru's Foreign Trade and Tourism Ministry (Mincetur) on Thursday officially declared the tenth edition of Mistura 2017 an event of national interest.

The international culinary fair will bring cooks and experts together, who will spread knowledge about national cuisine.

Peru is world-widely known for its diverse gastronomy.

The event will take place at Club Revolver in Lima’s Rimac district from October 26 to November 5.

According to the supreme resolution published in official newspaper El Peruano, public institutions —within their jurisdictions— will support the fair organization.

Likewise, Mistura 2017 will be financed by the involved entities' institutional budgets, without requiring additional resources from the Public Treasury, the regulation reads.

Said resolution was inked by President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, as well as Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Eduardo Ferreyros.
