Peru: Guerrero's hat-trick takes Peru to semi-finals

20:48 | Temuco (Chile), Jun. 25.

On Thursday night Peru's national adult soccer team managed to beat its Bolivian counterpart by a forceful 3-1 score and therefore qualified for the Copa America Chile 2015 tournament's semi-finals.

The match, held in Temuco city's German Becker Stadium, saw the amazing participation of Peruvian popular player and top striker, Paolo Guerrero.

Since the beginning of the game, Peru displayed an extraordinary performance in the field.

In the 20th minute, a header by 'Predator' Guerrero led to the first goal of the game. Peruvians at the Stadium and in the national territory had not stopped celebrating, when two minutes later (22nd minute), a kickback allowed the 'Predator' to be served the ball, which would hit the soccer net.

During the second half, Peru would put its talent once again on display. In the 74th minute a pass to Guerrero would be turned into the third Peruvian goal.

Bolivia, lacking ideas, managed to obtain the "discount goal" in the 84th minute through a penalty kicked by Marcelo Martins.

On Monday, the team will face home-owning team 'Chile' in the semi-finals match to be held in Santiago de Chile at 08:30 PM (local time).

It must be noted Guerrero has become the tournament's top scorer joining Chilean striker Arturo Vidal.
