The administration led by Peruvian President Ollanta Humala guarantees “free and neutral” general elections, which ensure a proper transfer of power by July 2016, Peru's Prime Minister Pedro Cateriano said.

After the next 2016 election, "four Presidents" will have been succeeded within the constitutional framework, he indicated.

Cateriano made remarks after reading the declaration signed by several political parties, which delegates are confident the 2016 general elections will be held in an environment filled with freedom and transparency.
Likewise, they backed policies and measures implemented on citizen security.

The document, inked by leaders of 14 groups, was submitted to the National Accord Forum that gathered politicians to inform about advances on science, innovation and technology.
