The Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC) will support Peru to strengthen its institutions by providing technical-vocational training to the country's youth.
This initiative will be carried out thanks to an agreement signed by the Peruvian ministries of Education and Labor with ACCC, within the framework of the President Ollanta Humala's state visit to Canada.

With support from the Canadian Agency of  International Development (CIDA), this initiative aims to improve the capacity of national and regional institutions in order to design, implement, monitor and evaluate policies and the vocational and technical training programs.

Indeed, this program, which will carry an investment of  $ 5.7 million Canadian dollars, will, in turn, open up better professional development opportunities for students and graduates from the Andean nation.

The Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC) is a voluntary membership organization representing colleges and institutes in Canada and internationally.

The association seeks to provide leadership, support and promotion of relations between governments, business, industry among others.
