Peruvian driver Nicolas Fuchs became Latin America’s highest ranked at the Portugal’s 2015 FIA World Rally Championship obtaining 24 points and being ranked among the Top 7 (-1 race).
After the outstanding an eight-position comeback, Fuchs displayed one of his best performances in the Race’s last three Super Specials, where he made a time of 3:54:01.1.

The performance landed him on the seventh position of the competition and enabled him to add seven points on the WRC2 ranking.

In this sense, the result maintains him as the competition's best Ford Fiesta driver, also becoming the "best private auto" out of the 32, which joined the race in Portugal.

“It has been a great race and a very good rally on the roads towards the world cup objective. We came out to design an intelligent race and we managed to obtain the points we had come to take,” he told once the race was over.

“After a Friday filled with surprises, which delayed us, we have managed to recover nine positions so far. I return [to Peru] very happy for what I have achieved so far and enabling, therefore, Peru to be ranked among the best of the world […],” he expressed.
