Paris (France), Jun. 8.
Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Thursday meets with French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, within the framework of the Andean Head of State's official visit to France and Spain.

Peru's top official was welcomed with corresponding honors upon arrival at Elysee Palace.

Mr. Kuczynski thus becomes the first Latin American leader to meet with his recently-elected counterpart.

The President's entourage is composed of Ministers Ricardo Luna (Foreign Affairs), Alfredo Thorne (Economy and Finance) and Ambassador to France Alvaro de Soto, among other government officials.

As is known, the Peruvian delegation arrived in Paris last Wednesday following a 13-hour flight.

During the visits, the Head of State will seek to strengthen bilateral and cooperation ties with both European nations, as well as to promote infrastructure investments within the framework of Peru's post-disaster reconstruction process
