“The Foreign Relations Ministry, as a whole, is moving forward towards a new public management culture […],” she told.
On the other hand, the Chancellor announced the portfolio gets prepared for the Bicentennial of Peruvian Independence (2021) counting on the new generations to assume the leadership guided by the "ideals of peace and development," which lead Peru’s Foreign Policy.
"In this framework, I exhort you to undertake your best efforts to reach our foreign policy’s strategic objectives. I urge you to renew the institutional commitment to continue working for Peru, its progress and the well-being of its citizens, who deserve a high level of diplomatic service excellence," she added.
Likewise, the head of the Ministry highlighted the role played by the Javier Perez de Cuellar Peruvian Diplomatic Academy. Next August 18, it will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of institutional life. In this sense, Sanchez expressed public appreciation for the training of new talents, who will serve Peruvian diplomacy.
