First Lady, Nadine Heredia, saluted today the UN World Food Program’s recognition of the National School Food Program Qali Warma which is promoted by the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis).
On her Twitter account, Mrs. Heredia highlighted the recognition as an example of government investing in people living in poverty.
In regard to this recognition, the head of Midis, Paola Bustamante, also saluted the international distinction and said the Government has estimated to set aside an investment of S/.1.4 billion for the functioning of the social program, which will benefit 3,100,000 children at national level.
