Peru’s Finance Ministry authorized Deputy Minister of Finance, Carlos Oliva, to travel to Colombia and South Korea, in order to participate in meetings of the Latin American Reserve Fund (FLAR), the Inter-American Development Bank and the Inter-American Investments Corporation (IIC).

According to the resolution published in El Peruano official newspaper, the official will attend the XXV Meeting of FLAR. It will be held in Bogota (Colombia) on 24 March.

At the meetings, he will represent Finance Minister, Alonso Segura, who will not be able to attend these meetings due to a busy schedule.

On the other hand, a published resolution indicates from 26 to 29 March Oliva will also travel to Busan, South Korea, to attend the Annual Meeting of the Boards of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC).

This appointment represents a space for debate between governors related to those institutions. It involves not only main authorities from the member nations' public sector, but also those from Europe and Asia.

Representatives of development agencies, bankers and entrepreneurial leaders will also participate.
