One of the main objectives of Peru’s social programs is to generate productive capacities among their main beneficiaries; these are required to improve their living conditions and bonds to the markets, Finance Minister Alonso Segura expressed.
Juntos social program has reached half a million poor families through cash transfers each month conditioned to medical examinations and school assistance.
Thus, this will contribute to innovating labor market in the medium and long terms, Segura noted.
He said the objective is to increase the economic growth potential, which is essential to raise productivity.
