Peru: Enterprises expand exporting ranges

Peruvian enterprises continue modernizing their production processes by accessing to training courses and certifications.
This way, value-added agro-exports increased from US$393 million in 2000 to over US$4.23 billion in 2014.

One of the comprised enterprises was DanPeru Trujillo S.A.C. Its goods were shipped to a total of 27 international markets between January and April. In this sense, the said company continues working to conquer more targets.

A couple days ago, it passed the BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce) audit.

Exports

Between January and February DanPer exported goods worth over US$36.5 million. It meant an increase of 2.3% compared to 2014, when exports totaled US$35.7 million.

The main market targets were the USA (US$15.1 million), followed by France (US$5.3 million), the Netherlands (US$5.1 million) and Spain (US$4.5 million).

Other countries are Switzerland, Denmark, South Africa, Australia, South Korea, Turkey, Lebanon and Belgium.

Its portfolio included asparagus (canned and fresh), artichokes, pepper varieties, vegetables, mangoes, avocados, quinoa and grapes, among others.
