Digital media advertising will grow by 100% in the next 5 years, in contrast, traditional media advertising is expected to decrease by 25%, social media business consulting company Findasense estimated.

In the digital world, the companies and brands are capable of “learning” their customers' real needs and concerns in real time.

"Although traditional channels will continue being important, the development of technologies will enable the communication [through digital media] to allow reducing the customer relationship management costs," Armando Perez, Findasense Spain director, expressed.

Many companies are replacing investments undertaken in mass media with those in digital media by enhancing interaction and communication with their customers. Thus, they are able to be “closer” to consumers, he added.

"There are some cases related to clients, who have managed to reduce their customer relationship management costs from US$7.0 to US$0.007. That is why we estimate investments are going to continue growing because companies will seek to maximize their investments without damaging the direct relationship they have with their clients," Perez told reporters.

In this context, Findasense will be present at 2015 Expo Marketing, the meeting points for executives to be held on June 16-17 at the Lima Los Delfines Hotel.

On June 17, Armando Perez will be the speaker at the conference titled: "Digital Marketing: a three-headed Monster." He is to be joined by Findasense Peru country manager, Fernando de la Borbolla.

It must be noted Peruvians spend 18.2 hours a month online. The list is headed only by Brazil and Argentina. To the date, there are 5.8 million Peruvian Internet users. It accounts for nearly 20% of the total population.
