On Sunday thousands of believers visited the home, where Peru's most popular female saint used to reside in the 19th Century.

Born on April 30, 1856 Isabel Flores de Oliva became known due to her sacrifice and miracles performed for the benefit of the people.

Currently, Santa Rosa de Lima is known as the patron saint of the country, the Peruvian National Police and the Philippines.

Thus, each year many believers gather at her former home to commemorate the life and miracles within a framework of faith. Likewise, a well serves as the recipient of letters issued by visitors.
