National and foreign visitors will be able to purchase admission tickets to tourist attractions —alternatives to Machu Picchu Archaeological Park— through the internet and from anywhere in the world.
Cusco's Integrated Cultural Tourism Services Committee (Cosituc), along with the Andean region's Decentralized Culture Directorate, currently develop the "e-ticket" project that will be ready in the first quarter of 2018, Cosituc representative Ivan Samame confirmed to Andina news agency.
This new option will allow domestic and foreign visitors to purchase or book —in advance— their tickets to 16 alternative attractions, which even comprise museums.
Cultural centers located in the city of Cusco also make the list.
