Peru: Crude oil production to increase by 54% in 2018

In 2018, Peruvial crude oil production will reach 91,000 barrels per day (bpd) leading to a growth of 54%, the Data bank Administrator at the PeruPetro Exploration Management, Asaid Bandach estimated on Thursday.

The forecast takes into account the current average daily production, which amounts 60,000 bdp.

“In 2018, crude oil production is estimated to reach 91,000 barrels per day, representing a growth of 54%,” he told during a presentation aimed at showcasing progress made with regard to the institution’s Data Bank.

Natural Gas

Natural gas liquids production (currently at 99,000 barrels per day) will increase by 4% leading to 103,000 bpd in 2018.

Likewise, natural gas production (currently at 1.368 billion cubic feet per day) is expected to reach 1.535 billion cubic feet and therefore register a 12% growth in that year, he projected.
