By large majority the Congress of the Republic of Peru authorized President Ollanta Humala's trip to New York City (USA), where he will attend the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In this sense, the Head of State has been granted permission to be out the country on September 24 - 30, in accordance with 70 votes in favor, two abstentions and none against.
The General Assembly will be held in the framework of 70th Anniversary of the UN Charter, which led to the United Nations creation on October 24 1945.
At the event, the Summit for the Adoption of the Post-2015 Development Agenda will take place.
